About

Erika Lupo

Erika Lupo is the founder of Acting-A-Part®, a dynamic acting school that’s been offering fun, interactive acting classes for kids and adults (ages 4 and up) for over 24 years. At Acting-A-Part®, students gain real-world experience in both stage and film acting, learning key skills that build confidence, creativity, and communication.

The classes are designed to be fun, engaging and hands-on! Whether it is a stage production, film or acting class each workshop is engaging and fun!! Erika brings in industry professionals, including casting directors and talent managers, to give students a firsthand look at the business and provide valuable feedback.

Before founding Acting-A-Part®, Erika taught English and developed the theater programs at Maplewood and Ramsey schools—programs that continue to thrive today. She also earned the Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Sussex County, NJ, in 2019, and hosts Women in the Loop, a podcast, where she talks with inspiring women in business and the arts.

Growing up on movie sets with her father, film producer Otto Salamon, Erika’s love for storytelling led her to recently direct the award-winning short film Hiding Bodies and the documentary Dodging Death, about her father’s experience as a Holocaust survivor and author.

Through Acting-A-Part®, Erika continues to offer students of all ages the chance to learn acting techniques, gain hands-on experience, and have fun while building their confidence and communication skills.
