Lupo is a professional teacher who grew up in a show business family. Her father, Otto Salamon, is an award-winning film producer, who encouraged her to follow her dream. As a teacher she launched theater programs in two New Jersey districts. She was nominated for Best Practice in Teaching, and was recognized and singled out for her skills of customizing her programs for each individual child.

“Each student learns at a different pace, our programs are designed to address the actor as an individual. Everyone gets a chance to shine in our programs.” Her workshops provide a safe, welcoming environment that nurtures the “whole” student physically, mentally and emotionally.

“Our acting classes teach students everything from reading skills, public speaking, self-esteem to self-confidence,” Lupo says. “Students of all ages and all levels are welcome and we also offer opportunities for kids to work behind the scenes and camera.”

Many students who have taken classes at Acting-A-Parts have gone on to careers in television, film and Broadway. And while this is true, Lupo underscores that that isn’t necessarily the goal of the program.

“Our philosophy at Acting-A-Part® is to teach children and teens that anything is possible. Children learn to speak with confidence, how to improvise, and learn decision-making skills. All of our workshops build on character education while making it fun to improve reading and writing skills.”

Acting-A-Part® offers traditional plays, musicals, films and original screenplays that focus on a wide variety of social issues. Workshops are range in age 4 – 8, our little Actors to tweens and teens. To learn more about franchise opportunities with Acting-A-Part®, contact Erika Lupo.

Acting-A-Part® is designed to teach the world of musical theater, FIlm, TV, Improvisation, Scene/Monologue study and stage productions. Each theater production includes costumes, live music, professionally directed, choreographed and produced for a live audience. In addition we offer film workshops, students learn all of aspects of being in an actual movie. We then film it locally on location with a local student film crew from a school that has a visual arts department. We then hold a professional movie premiere at a local movie theater for friends and family! As a creative writing major and English teacher Erika is able to write the screenplays for the film classes. “We submit our movies to local film festivals. Our movies are professionally filmed and edited by local students from local schools. We offer unique and original film and TV classes for all ages. This season we are starting a lights camera action class exclusively for our little actors ages 4 through 8. Acting-A-Parts also offers birthdays and summer camp programs.”
